What do I do with my client's CMA request?

If you can, answer it! If you can't, find someone who can!

Completing a client's CMA request is a great way for Real Estate Agents to establish rapport with a past client or a new prospect, and for Mortgage Professionals to connect with their Realtor Partner(s).

If you are a Mortgage Professional, we recommend:

1. Asking the client(s) if they have a preferred agent they would like to complete the CMA.

2. If the client does not have a preferred agent, refer the client to one of your preferred partners.

3. Reach out to the agent and requesting a CMA on behalf of the client. The agent will need to send the CMA back to you when prepared.

4. Update the client's home value using these steps.

If you are a Real Estate Professional you may receive a CMA request on behalf of a client from your Mortgage Professional Partner, or from the client directly. Homebot is an AVM (Automated Valuation Model) and may not be accurate for the client in question, we do however recommend reviewing the information in the client's Homebot account when completing your analysis in case they have entered information on any upgrades, etc. Once you have completed the CMA, send it back to your Mortgage Professional Partner to update your client's Homebot Account.
